Northwich

 

Yesterday in between the showers the stage and beer tent were erected. The stage is in the foreground with the beer tent in the background.

The stage takes shape.

The pontoons are filling up with boats, and the bunting is making an appearance.

After lunch Parfield, one of the Duker fleet built at Yarwood’s in Northwich, arrived from her home mooring at Yarwoods yard, and maneuvered into position.

Closely followed by Elizabeth.

We have been waiting for Parfield to arrive, now the other boats can take up their positions in and around her. More boats will be arriving today, with the convoy coming up the Manchester Ship Canal.
