Marbury

With the promise of a damp day we initially set to stay at Wrenbury, but after checking emails, we decided to move to Marbury which wasn’t very far away.

We moored up before Marbury lock, had lunch and set of to visit the village. The old village school has been converted into houses, and this one is for sale.

And very nice they were too. Just one side of cruising we are looking forward to from now on, just being able to pop in for a swift half when we fancy it.

Just as we got back to the canal it started to rain, so we timed that right.
